The event, held on June 9, 2025, was chaired by Secretary Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kumar and attended by senior ministry officials and representatives from affiliated bodies.

100% Digitization of Schemes:
All welfare and scholarship schemes are now managed through dedicated digital portals. This step has drastically improved accessibility and reduced corruption. -
Third-Party Audits:
Independent third-party evaluations are now a regular practice. This ensures greater accountability, effectiveness, and real-time improvements in scheme execution. -
Stakeholder-Driven Policy:
Policy frameworks today are not formed in isolation. Instead, they actively incorporate feedback from states, communities, and stakeholders on the ground. This has helped policies become more inclusive and realistic.
Waqf Governance Reform: A Legislative Breakthrough
One of the standout legislative reforms celebrated during the event was the Waqf Amendment Act, 2025. This historic amendment was notified after careful consideration by the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) and aims to:

The Central Rules under the Waqf Act are also nearing completion and will soon enhance enforcement of the legislation across states.
Launch of UMEED Central Portal: A Digital Milestone in Inclusive Growth
Another major highlight of the celebration was the recent launch of the UMEED Central Portal on June 6, 2025. This all-in-one digital platform simplifies access to government schemes for minority beneficiaries.
