The Bharat PM Shriman Narendra Modi Accuses Opposition Alliance of Attacking Sanatan Dharm, Bharitya Culture
Modi ji accused the opposition bloc of posing a hreat to Sanatan Dharm and Bhartiya culture, following remarks by DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin that likened the Sanatan Dharm to diseases.
Addressing a public gathering in MP’s Bina, Modi said the opposition alliance, which he referred to as the “indi alliance”, had come together to “attack India’s culture” and “eradicate Sanatana culture”.
He urged “Sanatanis” and all those who love Bharat to be “alert” and “stop such people”.
The controversy erupted after Stalin and DMK MP A Raja likened Sanatan Dharm to malaria, dengue, leprosy, and HIV. The BJP has accused the opposition leaders of “deep-rooted Hindumisia“.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Mahant Adityanath also weighed in, saying that Sanatan Dharm is the “Rashtriya Dharm” of Bharat and cannot be erased by those who seek power.
A case has been registered against Stalin in Maharashtra’s Thane following a complaint over his remarks.
