The result of Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023 will be declared on December 3. Counting of votes will begin at 8 am and results for all seats will be declared by evening.
Among the seven assembly seats of Raipur district, the result of the Raipur North assembly seat is likely to be declared first. There are 1,12,374 voters in this seat and 13 counting centers have been set up for counting of votes.
The result of the Raipur Rural Assembly seat is likely to be declared late. There are 3,50,683 voters in this seat and 305 counting centers have been set up for counting of votes. The result of the Dharsiwa assembly seat is also likely to come late. There are 2,38,442 voters in this seat and 200 counting centres have been set up for counting of votes.
More than 10,000 employees have been deployed for the counting of votes. CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor vote counting.
2,889 candidates have contested the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. Of these, 1,899 are men and 990 are women.
The result of the North Assembly seat of the capital Raipur can come by noon.
Many veteran leaders of BJP and Congress are in the election fray from the assembly seat of Raipur district.
BJP has fielded senior party leader Brijmohan Aggarwal from the South Assembly seat. At the same time, there is a direct contest between Rajesh Munat and Congress’s sitting MLA Vikas Upadhyay from the West Assembly seat.
