Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Final voter list delayed, will be released on January 22
The Election Commission of India has changed the date of the final publication of the voter list for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Earlier this date was January 5, but now it has been changed to January 22.

The Commission said that this change has been made for the timely disposal of all claims and objections. The commission said claims and objections for addition, deletion or change of names in the voter list will be invited from January 6 to 22.
With this change, voters will get more time to get their names included in the voter list. The names of voters who will turn 18 on January 1, 2024, will also be included in the final voter list.
The Commission said that to get their names included in the voter list, voters can apply by visiting the polling station in their area. The application form can also be downloaded from the website of the Commission. The Commission has appealed to the voters to include their names in the voter list on time.
The final publication of the voter list for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be on January 22.
