Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today inspected the under construction Ram Mandir here at Ayodhya. The consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will take place on January 22, 2024. Lakhs of devotees from across the country will participate in this ceremony. The Mandir administration has beautifully decorated the Ram Mandir before the ceremony. The sanctum sanctorum of the Mandir is covered with gold. Idols of Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Lakshman will be installed in the Mandir.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday reviewed the preparations for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22. Yogi Adityanath directed officials to ensure strong security around the VVIP delegates and deployment of liaison officers with each VVIP guest. The Chief Minister has also asked the administration to ensure that the local people do not face any problem due to the huge crowd of devotees on the day of the function.
Acharya Satyendra Das, chief priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, expressed displeasure over the viral pictures of Ram Lalla’s idol ahead of the consecration ceremony on Saturday. Acharya Satyendra Das said that Lord Ram’s eyes should not be exposed before the ceremony and there should be an investigation into how the pictures are going viral on the internet.
Acharya Satyendra Das said, “The eyes of the idol of Lord Rama cannot be revealed before the prana pratistha is completed. The idol in which the eyes of Lord Rama are visible is not the real idol. If the eyes can be seen, then this There should be an investigation as to who showed the eyes and how the pictures of the idol are going viral.”
He said, “All the procedures will be carried out as usual. However, Ram Lalla’s eyes will not be revealed till Pran Pratistha.”
