Pran consecration ceremony of Ram mandir in Ayodhya starts today
After the construction of the Ram mandir in Ayodhya, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony is being organized. The celebrations will begin today, January 16, 2024, and continue till January 22, 2024. Many religious rituals will be performed during the ceremony.
On the first day, 16 January, penance and Karmakuti puja will be performed. During this ritual, the temple will be purified and the idol of Ramallah will be entered into the temple.
On the second day, January 17, the idol of Ramallah will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum. This ceremony will be performed in Abhijeet Muhurta.
From the third day to the seventh day, from January 18 to January 21, seven Adhikari rituals will be performed. These rituals include water, medicine, scent, ghee, grains, sugar, and flowers.
On the last day, 22 January, Ramlala’s life will be consecrated. This ceremony will be performed in Abhijeet Muhurta.

Preparations for the consecration ceremony
Extensive preparations are being made in Ayodhya for the Pran Pratistha ceremony. The mandir complex is being decorated and security arrangements have been tightened.

Guest invited to the life consecration ceremony
More than 7,000 people have been invited by the mandir trust for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. These include cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, and many other famous personalities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also participate in this ceremony and will consecrate Ram Lalla.
