BJP forms two panels to include leaders in preparation for Lok Sabha elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party has formed two panels to include leaders in preparation for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. One panel will be led by party national president JP Nadda. The second panel will be led by party organization minister BL Santosh.
The Nadda-led panel will be tasked with selecting candidates for the party. Senior party leaders and MPs will be included in this panel. The task of the panel led by Santosh will be to prepare for the election campaign. This panel will include organizational leaders and workers of the party.
BJP believes that the formation of these panels will help the party in preparing for the Lok Sabha elections. The party aims to win more than 350 seats in the 2024 elections.

- Election Management Committee: T2his committee will be headed by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The committee also includes Union ministers Bhupendra Yadav, Ashwini Vaishnav, Anurag Thakur and Mansukh Mandaviya.
- Screening and Facilitation Committee of Newcomers: This committee will be headed by BJP general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh. The committee also includes national general secretaries Tarun Chugh, Vinod Tawde and Sunil Bansal.
- Publicity Committee: This committee will be headed by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. The committee also includes Union ministers Smriti Irani, Nitin Gadkari and Jyotiraditya Scindia.
- Strategy Committee: This committee will be led by BJP national president JP Nadda. This committee includes senior party leaders and MPs.
BJP president JP Nadda held meetings with these committees on Tuesday and discussed the committee’s agenda for the coming days for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP has also formed a team of its leaders in every state for equal role management and vetting of newcomers to the party.
