Ram Mandir inauguration: Half-day holiday in central government offices on January 22

Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Thursday said all central government offices will remain closed for half a day on January 22 on the occasion of the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The minister said that the decision to keep the office closed for half the day has been taken given the heavy emotions.
According to this decision, all central government offices will remain closed from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm on January 22. During this period, employees can work from home or attend functions.
The inauguration and consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir will start at 12:30 pm on January 22. The event will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Ministers and other dignitaries.
