India will celebrate its 75th Republic Day on Friday. On this occasion, a grand parade will be organized in the country’s capital New Delhi. The parade will begin at 10:30 am and will include tableaux from various arms of the Indian Armed Forces as well as various states and union territories.
French President Emmanuel Macron will be the chief guest of the ceremony. He started his India trip on Thursday and did some sightseeing in Jaipur. Later, he conducted a road show with PM Narendra Modi on the main roads of the city in an open jeep.
President Draupadi Murmu on Thursday evening led the ‘Amrit Kaal’ yatra to commemorate 75 years of the country’s independence. Under this Yatra, various programs are being organized at various places across the country.
