“We have just heard about Mamata Banerjee ji getting injured in a car accident. We wish her a full and speedy recovery. The Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra is looking forward to entering West Bengal late tomorrow morning. 26 More 27th January is a holiday, and the journey will resume on 28th,” Ramesh tweeted.
Earlier in the day, Banerjee had announced that her party, TMC, would fight alone in Bengal. His announcement comes after TMC and Congress faced disagreement over seat sharing in West Bengal for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Banerjee said, “I did not discuss with the Congress party. I have always said that we will fight alone in Bengal. I am not worried about what will be done in the country, but we are a secular party and we will fight alone in Bengal.” Will defeat BJP.”
He said, “I made several proposals but they rejected them from the very beginning. Since then we have decided to contest the elections alone in Bengal.”
