Ram mandir consecration ceremony in Ayodhya began at 10:15 am today. The chief host of the ceremony is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel and other dignitaries.
The auspicious time for the ceremony is only 84 seconds. During this time, idols of Lord Ram will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has said that entry into the function will be possible only with the entry card issued by the Trust. The invitation letter will not ensure admission. Entry into the premises will be granted only after matching the QR code on the entry card.
The arrival of VVIP guests in Ayodhya started on Sunday itself. About 7000 dignitaries have attended this special function.
After the ceremony, all the witnessing dignitaries will be given darshan in the sanctum sanctorum. There will be 121 Acharyas who will coordinate, support and guide all the processes of the ritual of the ceremony. Shri Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid will monitor, coordinate and guide all the processes, and Shri Laxmikant Dixit of Kashi will be the Chief Acharya.
