Huge increase in air traffic for Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya

Heavy air traffic is expected on January 22 for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya. More than 50 VIP planes are expected to land, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and several other prominent leaders and guests.
Apart from this, airlines have also started flying to Ayodhya. Before News18 reached Ayodhya at the airport from Delhi on Monday, the first IndiGo flight from Mumbai had also landed in Ayodhya before us. Air India is starting flights from Delhi to Ayodhya on Tuesday and to Bengaluru and Kolkata on Wednesday.
Ram mandir trustee Champat Rai told News18 that around 100 planes could land in Ayodhya between January 18-22, which would include at least 25 chartered VIP planes on the 22nd. Champat Rai said, “Ayodhya Airport has been asked to make all arrangements.”
More than 100 VIPs are expected to reach Ayodhya on around 50 special flights ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival at 11 am on January 21 and 22. These special VIP planes may need to be parked at nearby airports in Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Kushinagar as the PM’s plane will be parked in Ayodhya.
As soon as the IndiGo flight took off from Delhi on Monday, the IndiGo pilot loudly announced, “We are flying to the holy land of Lord Shri Ram…Jai Shri Ram.”
The 560 km long journey takes about 50 minutes as it passes through Aligarh, Lucknow and flies over the Ghaghra and Saryu rivers to reach Ayodhya.
Once at the airport in Ayodhya, travellers started taking selfies – and we found Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak there welcoming senior BJP leader Tarun Chugh and RSS leaders Ram Lal and Krishna Gopal, who were arriving on the same flight. Have reached Ayodhya.
