Pakistan expels Iran’s ambassador
Pakistan expelled Iran’s ambassador on Wednesday. The reason for the move was the air strikes carried out by Iran on terrorist targets in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the attacks were “unexpected and unacceptable”. The ministry said the attack violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and threatened regional peace and security.
Pakistan demanded Iran to apologize for the attacks and hold the culprits accountable.
Along with expelling Iran’s ambassador, Pakistan has also recalled its ambassador from Tehran.
