Yogi Adityanath attacked the opposition on the construction of the Ram mandir, saying – this is not politics, it is for the country.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday attacked the opposition over the construction of Ram Mandir. He said that if the opposition was so worried about the “politicization” of the Ram mandir then why did they not get the mandir built?
CM Yogi said that the construction of the Ram Mandir is for the country, not for any party. He said that the opposition leaders have been doing politics in the name of the Ram mandir, but they never took any steps for the construction of the mandir.
CM Yogi said that when the BJP came to power, it carried forward the construction work of the Ram Mandir rapidly. He said that now the construction of the mandir is in its final stage and it will be inaugurated soon.
CM Yogi said that the opposition leaders want to stop the construction of the Ram Mandir, but they will not be able to succeed. He said that the people of the country are committed to the construction of Ram mandir and this mandir will be built under any circumstances.
CM Yogi also mentioned the pledge taken by Ram devotees during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. He said that Ram devotees had pledged that the temple would be built where Ram’s birthplace is. He said that this promise has been fulfilled and the mandir is being built there.
Responding to the opposition’s allegations, CM Yogi said that Congress and other opposition parties are the only ones who have always done politics on this issue. He said that the BJP never did politics on this issue and mandir construction has always been the goal of the BJP.
CM Yogi also threw light on the changes that took place in Ayodhya. He said that ten years ago Ayodhya used to present a different picture. Wires were hanging on electric poles, there was filth in the city and people faced problems even with electricity. But now Ayodhya has completely changed. It has four-lane roads, modern facilities and a peaceful environment.
