In ancient times, by the order of Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma had created living beings and humans. But Lord Brahma was not satisfied with his creation. He felt that something was missing in his composition. He wanted his creation to be endowed with speech and intelligence.
Brahma ji worshipped Lord Vishnu. Vishnu ji told Brahma ji that his creation lacked speech and intelligence. For this, they should worship Adishakti Durga Mata.
Brahma ji and Vishnu ji together worshiped Adishakti Durga Mata. Durga Mata accepted his prayer and manifested Goddess Saraswati from her body. Goddess Saraswati is the goddess of speech and intelligence.
