Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of imprisoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is scheduled to convey a message on his behalf at a large-scale rally organized by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi today. Notable leaders from the opposition INDIA bloc, including Rahul Gandhi, are anticipated to be present.

2. BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi has criticized the event, suggesting it prioritizes the protection of political dynasties over the preservation of democracy.
3. Opposition figures are expected to condemn what they see as the BJP’s misuse of central agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate, CBI, and the Income Tax Department.
4. Notable attendees include Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Tejashwi Yadav, Champai Soren, Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, and Tiruchi Siva.

9. AAP has obtained permission for the rally, expecting over 20,000 attendees, with a target of more than 1 lakh participants from Punjab.
10. The BJP asserts that Mr Kejriwal’s arrest and Congress’ tax notices are independent actions by agencies adhering to legal procedures, refuting allegations of political interference.
