This extensive investment signifies the government’s commitment to propelling Bihar’s development and fostering a brighter future for its citizens.
The projects encompass a diverse range of sectors, strategically chosen to address critical needs and stimulate growth. Furthermore, the initiative extends to road development with projects like the two-laning of the Piprakothi-Motihari-Raxaul section of NH-28A and the Sheohar-Sitamarhi section of NH-104. These advancements aim to improve connectivity within the region, facilitating smoother transportation of goods and people.
The focus on railways is evident with the dedication of the doubled 62 km Bapudham Motihari-Piprahan line and the Narkatiaganj-Gaunaha gauge conversion. Additionally, the laying of the foundation stone for the doubling and electrification of the 96 km long Gorakhpur Cantt-Valmiki Nagar line and the redevelopment of Bettiah railway station further emphasizes the government’s dedication to modernizing and expanding the railway network.
Beyond infrastructure, the projects encompass the establishment of City Gas Distribution projects and Grain-based Ethanol plants. These initiatives hold the potential to create new employment opportunities, particularly for the youth, and contribute to a more sustainable and efficient energy landscape.
During his address, the Prime Minister acknowledged the historical significance of Bettiah, drawing a parallel between its role in India’s freedom struggle and its current potential to become a torchbearer for the state’s development. He also highlighted various government initiatives like the free ration scheme, Ayushman Bharat healthcare program, and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi for farmers, underlining the commitment to addressing the needs of the most vulnerable sections of society.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Bettiah underscores the government’s multi-pronged approach towards Bihar’s development. By investing in crucial infrastructure, promoting cleaner energy solutions, and fostering employment opportunities, these projects pave the way for a more prosperous and sustainable future for the region. His emphasis on collective responsibility serves as a reminder that building a developed India requires the combined efforts of the government and its citizens
