The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) hosted the second outreach program for the Sangam: Digital Twin initiative at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT Bangalore). This event brought together prominent leaders, innovators, and startups from various sectors to explore the transformative potential of digital twins in achieving India’s Vision 2047 – a vision for a developed India.

The Secretary of Telecommunications underlined the importance of forward-thinking planning and positioned Sangam as a top-priority initiative for the government. He explained how the initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision for futuristic infrastructure, aiming to break down silos between ministries. Recognizing the transformative potential of data, computing advancements, and the Internet of Things (IoT), he emphasized the initiative’s potential to propel India towards becoming a leading developed nation.
