New Delhi, India — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its manifesto, named Sankalp Patra, for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, with a significant emphasis on uplifting women, youth, farmers, and the economically disadvantaged. One of the prominent promises is the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with BJP President JP Nadda and Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S Jaishankar, revealed the manifesto during the event.
PM Modi expressed gratitude to the manifesto committee for their diligent efforts, stating that the nation eagerly anticipates the manifesto due to the BJP’s track record of fulfilling its promises over the past decade. He emphasized the party’s commitment to empowering the youth, women, poor, and farmers, focusing on enhancing quality of life and employment opportunities through investment.
Modi assured the continuation of the free ration scheme for the next five years, ensuring nutritious and affordable food for the underprivileged. Additionally, he announced the extension of Ayushman Bharat Scheme coverage to all senior citizens above 70, irrespective of their economic status.
The manifesto pledges to construct three crore additional houses for the poor and increase the Mudra Yojana loan ceiling to Rs 20 lakh. Moreover, it promises to enhance support for small farmers and develop India into a global nutrition hub.
On the legislative front, Modi reiterated the BJP’s commitment to implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and outlined plans for the immediate commencement of the party’s agenda post-election results.

Furthermore, the manifesto underscores initiatives for economic growth, including fostering a conducive environment for manufacturing, celebrating cultural heritage through events like the Ramayan Utsav, and prioritizing infrastructure development and governance reforms.
JP Nadda emphasized the BJP’s ideological foundation and its commitment to delivering on promises, echoing the party’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.”
