PC Mohan, a three-time MP representing the Bangalore Central constituency, is confident about securing his fourth term in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Mohan recently conducted a roadshow and door-to-door campaign in the constituency to bolster support for the BJP.
Expressing optimism, Mohan highlighted the significance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming roadshow, emphasizing the BJP’s determination to secure all 28 seats in Karnataka, with backing from the JDS alliance. He commended the economic achievements of the BJP-led government under PM Modi’s leadership and criticized the declining credibility of the Congress, both nationally and in Bangalore.
Mohan emphasized his contributions to the infrastructure development of Bengaluru over the past 15 years, advocating for projects such as the Metro Rail, Suburban Rail, and initiatives to enhance amenities at railway stations and highways. He stressed his accessibility to citizens and his commitment to addressing their concerns.
Regarding future plans for the constituency, Mohan pledged to continue implementing transformative initiatives aligned with PM Modi’s vision. He aimed to ensure that every program and initiative of the Modi-led government reaches the people of Bangalore Central, promising a brighter future for the constituency.
Mohan also discussed his plans to enhance governance at the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) level and improve urban landscapes, highlighting the implementation of central government schemes to address day-to-day issues.
In terms of mass transportation, Mohan emphasized his goal of expanding transportation infrastructure, particularly the Metro Rail network, and the upcoming Bengaluru Suburban Rail project, which he aims to operationalize within the next three years.
As the upcoming elections are scheduled for April 26, Karnataka’s role will be crucial, with voting taking place in the second and third phases. In the 2019 General elections, the BJP emerged victorious in 25 out of 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
