Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a prominent campaigner for the BJP in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024, made striking remarks accusing the Congress party of providing biryani to terrorists. Speaking at a public rally in Rajasthan’s Sikar seat in support of BJP candidate Sumedhanand Saraswati, Adityanath criticized the Congress for its alleged sympathetic treatment towards terror suspects, branding it as the “biggest problem” facing India.
Emphasizing his point, Adityanath asserted, “Congress would starve the poor people but feed biryani to terrorists.” He reiterated these sentiments by stating that curfews are ingrained in the DNA of the Congress party, insinuating their historical imposition during their governance. Adityanath also questioned the Congress party’s capability to undertake significant projects, citing doubts regarding revered figures like Lord Ram and Krishna, particularly with monumental projects such as the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
Highlighting the widespread support for the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Adityanath rallied the masses with the chant “Fir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar (Modi government once again).” He commended the Modi-led government for its efforts in securing the nation’s borders, curbing terrorist activities, and fostering development across India.
Adityanath referenced a report from a British newspaper indicating the elimination of 20 terrorists in Pakistan as a testament to the effectiveness of India’s approach under Modi’s leadership. He further praised the government’s success in addressing terrorism, naxalism, and stone-pelting incidents in Kashmir, asserting that such acts are now met with resolute opposition.
Speaking about the developmental progress in Kashmir, Adityanath highlighted the region’s transformation towards democratic ideals and increased tourism, including pilgrimages to revered sites like Mata Vaishno Devi and the Amarnath Yatra. He urged citizens to vote for PM Modi to further strengthen India’s position on the global stage.
