Karnataka’s 14 constituencies had a 69.23% voter turnout, but in the three urban constituencies of Bengaluru, nearly half of the voters did not cast their votes.
Rajasthan’s total voter turnout for all 25 seats across the two phases of polling was tentatively recorded at 61.60%. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Rajasthan saw a 63.02% turnout.
The Jammu parliamentary constituency experienced a peaceful polling process, with nearly 72% voter turnout. In the previous general election, 74% of voters in Jammu exercised their right to vote.
Bihar saw an increase in voter turnout compared to the first phase, with 55.08%. Uttar Pradesh’s eight Lok Sabha constituencies recorded a turnout of 54.85% by 8 pm.
Kerala’s polling concluded at 6 pm, with a provisional voter turnout of 65.91%. Though the official polling time ended at 6 pm, long queues outside polling booths suggest that the final turnout percentage may increase.
In Madhya Pradesh, the voter turnout was around 57.88%, while in eight constituencies in Maharashtra, it was approximately 57.83%.
