The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, presented 3 Padma Vibhushan, 8 Padma Bhushan, and 55 Padma Shri Awards for 2024 during the Civil Investiture Ceremony-I held today at Rashtrapati Bhawan’s Darbar Hall.
The event was attended by the Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, and Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, along with other Union Ministers and dignitaries.
After the ceremony, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, and other Union Ministers hosted a dinner for the Padma Awardees at his residence in New Delhi.
On April 23, 2024, the Padma Awardees will pay tribute at the National War Memorial in the morning and visit Rashtrapati Bhawan and the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya.
