This phase involved five batches of 20 participants each from Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and the Union Territory of Daman and Diu, totaling a hundred students. Focused on nine value-based themes, the initiative is set to continue with its sixth batch starting on April 15, 2024.
The Alumni Meet aimed to rekindle connections and pave the way for collective progress. It represented a significant milestone in acknowledging the impact of the Prerana program, allowing alumni to reflect on their experiences, celebrate achievements, and inspire each other for future endeavors. This event marks the initial step toward establishing and upholding the legacy of PRERANA, with a primary focus on facilitating meaningful interactions among participants from the pilot phase.
The event provided a platform for alumni to reconnect, share their academic and career journeys post-Prerana participation, and express their future personal growth aspirations. It also served as an opportunity to explore how alumni are incorporating the program’s values and lessons into their personal and professional lives. The gathering showcased the influence of Prerana alumni as advocates of the program, driving positive change within their communities. Furthermore, it aimed to foster a sense of mentorship and support among alumni, encouraging them to remain actively engaged with current and future participants.
Strengthening the alumni network and promoting continued involvement in the Prerana program are crucial for ensuring its long-term success and sustainability. The inaugural Prerana Alumni Meet presents a significant opportunity to chart a course for ongoing collaboration and impact. As alumni come together as a community, they have the potential to inspire change, foster innovation, and shape the future of the Prerana program and beyond.
