Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused the Congress party of endorsing the right for minorities to eat beef, asserting that the party seeks to give cows to butchers. He made these remarks during an election rally in Moradabad, supporting BJP candidate Parmeshwar Lal Saini for the Sambhal Lok Sabha seat.
Adityanath claimed that Congress aims to grant minorities the freedom to eat any food they choose, which he interprets as advocating cow slaughter. He also criticized the party for allegedly planning to redistribute women’s gold ornaments, or “stridhan,” to Rohingya and Bangladeshi infiltrators.
The chief minister stated that Congress had promised an “X-ray of people’s property” and could take possession of women’s jewellery. He also accused the party of trying to provide reservations for Muslims at the expense of SC/ST/OBC reservations in Karnataka.
Referring to reports of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s potential Ayodhya visit, Adityanath accused them of previously questioning the existence of Lord Ram, calling it an example of their double standards.
Earlier in the week, Adityanath alleged that Congress aimed to impose Sharia law in the country, criticizing their manifesto and accusing them and their allies of betraying the nation.
