Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address three election rallies in Bihar on May 27.
Rahul Gandhi, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, party leader Rajeev Shukla, and others attended a public meeting for the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Una, Hamirpur, on May 26, 2024.
The last phase of polling will be on June 1 for the remaining 57 seats, with the counting of votes scheduled for June 4. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has urged the BJP and the Congress to refrain from raising divisive issues in their campaigns, a case of better late than never.
Low voter turnout has been notable in the initial phases of the ongoing general election. Possible explanations include extreme heat, the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, price rises, job losses, and voter indifference.
