President Droupadi Murmu embarked on a visit to Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, on May 1, 2024. During her visit, she paid homage at the Prabhu Shri Ram Mandir, expressing reverence towards the Divine Child form of Prabhu Shri Ram and emphasizing the mandir’s significance as a vibrant emblem of Indian societal and cultural values.
President Murmu underscored the mandir’s role in inspiring collective efforts towards the welfare of all citizens. Seeking blessings and prosperity for the nation, she extended prayers to Prabhu Shri Ram.
Prior to her visit to the Ram Mandir, President Murmu also visited the Shri Hanuman Garhi Mandir, where she participated in Darshan and Aarti ceremonies. Additionally, she attended an Aarti ceremony at the ghat of river Saryu.
Furthermore, President Murmu honored Kuber Teela with Puja offerings and paid respects to the revered statue of Jatayu, symbolizing the ethos of collective compassion among divine entities, humans, and other beings in our tradition.
