The Conference, organized annually by the DARPG in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and a host State Government, will be hosted this year by the Government of Maharashtra in Mumbai.
The National Conference is a key event where the National Awards for E-Governance (NAeG) are presented to recognize outstanding contributions and innovations in e-governance. This year, a total of 9 Gold, 6 Silver, and 1 Jury Award will be conferred, selected from 375 nominations across various categories.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Shaping Secure and Sustainable E-Service Delivery,” highlighting the importance of advancing India’s e-governance efforts for robust and sustainable e-service delivery.
Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri. Eknath Shinde will inaugurate the Conference, which will feature discussions and deliberations over two days. The awards will be presented during the Valedictory Session by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Department of Atomic Energy, and the Department of Space, in the presence of Shri. Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Senior officials from DARPG, MeitY, the Government of Maharashtra, NeGD, MyGov, NIC, industry leaders from NASSCOM, start-ups, and e-governance thought leaders will participate in the 2-day conference. Additionally, an exhibition showcasing awarded projects and projects by the Centre, State Governments, and start-ups will be curated at the 27th NCeG.
