New Delhi: As Narendra Modi prepares to be sworn in for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister, India has invited leaders from several neighboring countries to join the occasion. The ceremony is scheduled for today at 7:15 pm at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
On the same evening, the Council of Ministers will also take their oaths, joining the Prime Minister’s new cabinet.
The Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed that numerous leaders have accepted the invitation and will be present in New Delhi for the event.

Delhi will be on high alert as these dignitaries arrive, according to Delhi Police reports to PTI. Hotels such as The Leela, Taj, ITC Maurya, Claridge’s, and Oberoi will be subject to stringent security measures. Safe routes have been arranged for the leaders’ travel between their accommodations and the venue.
Officials have noted, “Dignitaries attending the swearing-in will have designated routes from their hotels to the venue and back.”
Besides the swearing-in ceremony, these leaders will also attend a banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan later in the evening. This event aims to foster high-level interactions and discussions, enhancing regional ties among SAARC member nations.
