New Delhi: After all alliance partners unanimously endorsed Narendra Modi, leader of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude and assured the NDA government will provide good governance. He thanked the people for allowing him to serve them again.
Newly elected MPs of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) convened at the Central Hall of the old Parliament Building this morning to discuss cabinet formation ahead of the swearing-in ceremony.
This follows the NDA surpassing the majority mark by securing 293 seats in the Lok Sabha polls, with the BJP winning 240 seats, a significant decrease from its 2019 tally.
Senior BJP leader Pralhad Joshi announced at the NDA parliamentary party meeting that the NDA parties had unanimously elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as their leader.
A total of 21 NDA leaders signed a resolution acknowledging PM Modi’s contributions to nation-building, welfare of the poor, and development, reaffirming their partnership in these efforts.
