Shri Sunil Barthwal congratulated the students and highlighted the crucial roles of international business and business analytics in today’s interconnected world. He emphasized that international trade is a cornerstone of economic growth, job creation, and innovation, while business analytics is revolutionizing organizational operations by enabling data-driven decision-making and enhancing efficiency and competitiveness.
He stressed the importance of fostering a peer-to-peer learning culture through debates and discussions and encouraged students to interact with industry professionals, alumni, trade-based research organizations, and government officials. Shri Barthwal urged students to embrace the opportunities provided by IIFT, think beyond borders, embrace diversity, and strive to make a positive global impact. He also highlighted the necessity of continuous learning, unlearning, and relearning new skills in response to changing times.
During his address, Shri Barthwal emphasized that India should capitalize on its demographic dividend to transform into a developed nation. He encouraged students to leverage technology and entrepreneurial skills to envision themselves as leaders in emerging services and trade sectors, contributing to Vision @2047.
