The Poshan Tracker app now supports 24 languages, including Hindi, English, Malayalam, Punjabi, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Gujarati, Marathi, Maithili, Urdu, Garo, Khasi, Manipuri, Kashmiri, Oriya, Nepali, Sindhi, Konkani, Dogri, Bodo, and Santhali.
Mission Poshan 2.0 has facilitated the distribution of smartphones to Anganwadi workers, with States/UTs responsible for procurement. Guidelines issued on March 28, 2023, advise procuring high-quality devices/smartphones with 4G/5G support. Additionally, Anganwadi workers receive Rs. 2000 annually for internet connectivity.
The Poshan Tracker application is used to report data on various nutrition indicators, such as beneficiary registration, delivery of Take Home Ration (THR – not raw ration) and Hot Cooked Meal (HCM), updating growth metrics (height and weight) of children, and monitoring nutritional indicators (such as stunting, wasting, and underweight) of children.
As of June 2024, Poshan Tracker data shows 10.26 crore beneficiaries (including 1,12,20,991 pregnant women and lactating mothers, 8,91,73,482 children below 6 years, and 22,38,643 adolescent girls) are registered across 36 States/UTs.
