Karpoori Thakur’s Granddaughter Joins Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj in Patna
Dr. Jagriti, the granddaughter of Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur, officially joined Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj movement at Patna’s Gyan Bhawan on Sunday. Alongside her, two other prominent leaders, former RJD MLC Professor Rambali Singh Chandravanshi and retired IPS officer Anand Mishra, also aligned themselves with Jan Suraaj in the presence of Kishor.
Dr. Jagriti is currently serving at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. Anand Mishra, an Assam cadre IPS officer who recently took voluntary retirement, aims to contest the Lok Sabha election from Buxar. Initially, he joined the BJP but later ran as an independent candidate after the party denied him a ticket.
Professor Rambali Singh Chandravanshi, associated with Patna University’s BN College, is a former RJD MLC from the Extremely Backward Caste (EBC) community.
Prashant Kishor has announced that Jan Suraaj will contest the 2025 Bihar assembly elections, marking a significant step in their political journey.
