The Ministry of Education is set to commemorate the 4th anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020 with the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2024, taking place tomorrow at the Manekshaw Centre Auditorium in New Delhi.

Attendees will include esteemed academicians, university vice-chancellors, officials, and students.
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan will launch several key initiatives, including dedicated TV channels to support learning in various Indian languages, a new Tamil Channel, and primers for early graders in 25 Indian languages. Additionally, he will introduce guidelines for 10 Bagless Days to make learning more enjoyable and stress-free, career guidance resources, a comprehensive library of over 500 job cards, and Braille and audiobooks for the NMM & NPST programs. Other highlights include the School Innovation Marathon by AICTE & AIM and the unveiling of books and lecture notes promoting the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS).
The Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) is designed to celebrate the NEP 2020 and renew the commitment of various stakeholders towards its successful implementation. The event will feature six-panel discussions on various Ministry initiatives, engaging prominent academicians and stakeholders.
The first ABSS event, held in July 2022 in Varanasi, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. It aimed to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders for the NEP 2020’s effective and timely implementation, strengthen links between higher educational institutions, and address challenges faced by HEIs while proposing solutions.
This celebration not only marks a significant milestone for the NEP 2020 but also reinforces the collective effort required to achieve the policy’s transformative goals.
