On the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra, President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi conveyed their heartfelt wishes to the people. President Murmu, currently in Odisha, is set to participate in the Rath Yatra festivities in Puri.
President Murmu, sharing her greetings in Odia and Hindi on social media, expressed her joy for the event: “I extend my heartiest greetings to all people of our country on the occasion of the world-famous Rath Yatra of Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath. Countless Jagannath lovers of the country and the world are eagerly waiting to see three deities on the chariot today.” She also prayed for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of all.
Prime Minister Modi took to social media to share his blessings, stating, “Greetings on the start of the sacred Rath Yatra. We bow to Mahaprabhu Jagannath and pray that His blessings constantly remain upon us.”
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, through a video message, extended his warm wishes to the people of Odisha. He prayed to Lord Jagannath for the overall development of the state and the creation of a prosperous Odisha with collective efforts.
Additionally, notable leaders like Odisha Governor Raghubar Das, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also extended their greetings, celebrating this special day with the people of India.
