The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, will inaugurate the Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals Edition, 2024 on August 14. The garden will be accessible to the public from August 16 to September 15, 2024, operating daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:15 PM.
In a first, August 29 will be set aside for sportspersons in honor of National Sports Day. Similarly, September 5 will be reserved for teachers, continuing last year’s tradition in celebration of Teachers’ Day.
The garden will be closed on all Mondays for maintenance.
Visitors can enter through Gate No. 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan, near North Avenue Road. Entry is free, and bookings can be made online at the Rashtrapati Bhavan website or via Self Service Kiosks located outside Gate No. 35 for walk-in visitors.
A complimentary shuttle bus service from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35 will be available for visitor convenience.
In addition to the garden, visitors can book online to tour the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum, and observe the change of guard ceremony in New Delhi, as well as visit Rashtrapati Niwas Mashobra in Shimla and Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad.
During the Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals Edition, 2024, school children can visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum free of charge. Sportspersons and teachers will also enjoy free entry to the museum on their respective special days, August 29 and September 5.
