Meanwhile, junior doctors in West Bengal have rejected Mamata Banerjee’s appeal to end their 20-day strike over the alleged rape and murder of a colleague at RG Kar Medical College. A representative from the West Bengal Junior Doctors’ Forum stated that the protest would continue until their demands, including justice for the deceased postgraduate trainee, are met.
