In a significant move, the BJP has fielded Baldev Raj Sharma for the Mata Vaishno Devi seat, a change from the earlier candidate Rohit Dubey, whose name was included in the initial list but later withdrawn.

While the BJP’s stronghold lies in the Jammu region, the party has also strategically fielded candidates in the Kashmir Valley for key constituencies such as Pampore, Shopian, Anantnag West, and Anantnag.
With this list, the BJP aims to strengthen its presence across the union territory, focusing on both traditional strongholds and potential new territories.
