As the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Postgraduate Medical Courses (NEET PG) 2024 approaches, social media is abuzz with allegations of a possible paper leak, causing increasing anxiety among aspirants. With the exam scheduled for August 11, these allegations have emerged just five days before the test.
Concerns have been particularly heightened due to recent activity on Telegram, where users have shared screenshots of conversations suggesting that NEET PG 2024 question papers are being sold. Screenshots posted on X reveal multiple Telegram groups and channels, such as “NEET PG Leaked Materials,” allegedly offering leaked exam papers for both shifts at exorbitant prices, with some charging up to Rs 70,000.
Dr. Dhruv Chauhan, an X user, highlighted this issue by sharing multiple screenshots from these groups, calling for the Cybercrime and Intelligence Bureau to investigate. He stated, “Hundreds of Telegram pages claim to sell NEET PG papers; these frauds should be on the radar because they may or may not have the papers, but this requires investigation.”

The NEET PG 2024 exam was initially planned for June but was rescheduled to August due to disruptions involving the NEET UG and UGC NET exams. The UGC NET exam faced cancellation just two days after its initial date, while NEET PG was canceled only 12 hours before it was set to occur. Now, the National Board of Education (NBE) is conducting NEET PG 2024 on August 11.
However, students have expressed frustration over the “random” allocation of exam centers, with some reporting that their centers are located 800-1,000 kilometers away from their homes. The NEET PG 2024 admit card, to be released on August 8, will include the specific details of each candidate’s exam venue.
The integrity of national-level competitive exams is a growing concern among students and social media users. One user expressed disillusionment, stating, “I don’t think there’s any more faith to be lost; it’s all gone.”
Additionally, a user identifying as a Medical Doctor specializing in OBGYN shared a screenshot of a purported WhatsApp conversation between a paper leak facilitator and a NEET PG 2023 aspirant. In the conversation, the aspirant reportedly thanks the facilitator, stating, “Sir, I scored 648 (ranked 433), thanks to your leaked materials,” and adds, “I will recommend many candidates… thank you.”
