Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that post-Article 370 abrogation, Jammu & Kashmir is set to lead India’s future growth. He highlighted that over the past five years, the region has seen significant advancements in democracy, governance, development, and security.
Dr. Singh emphasized that, for the first time, J&K’s untapped natural resources and latent human potential have come to the fore. He noted that Jammu & Kashmir is becoming a power hub in North India with numerous stalled and new projects commencing.
He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for instilling confidence in the people and driving peace and development in the region.
This statement was made on the 5th anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 during an interview with Doordarshan News.
