Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic wall collapse in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, which resulted in the deaths of nine children.
To support the bereaved families, Shri Modi has announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for each victim’s next of kin. He also offered prayers for the families affected by this tragedy.
The Prime Minister shared on X:
“The Prime Minister has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF for the next of kin of each deceased in the mishap in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000.”
