Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), a prominent player in the Renewable Energy (RE) sector, has released its financial results for the fiscal year 2023-24 (FY24) on August 2, 2024.
In FY24, SECI awarded 8,440 MW of renewable energy tenders, including solar, wind, and hybrid projects, bringing the total awarded capacity to 65,317 MW.
The company’s annual trading volume saw a 22.13% increase over the previous year, with 42,935 million units of electricity traded.
On a standalone basis, SECI’s total income reached ₹13,135.80 crore, up 20.91% from the previous year’s ₹10,864.43 crore. Profit After Tax (PAT) rose by 38.14%, amounting to ₹436.03 crore compared to ₹315.65 crore in the prior year.
On a consolidated basis, the group’s PAT for FY24 was ₹510.92 crore, a 34.89% increase from the previous year’s ₹378.77 crore.
The company’s net worth increased by 18.32%, standing at ₹2,811.76 crore compared to ₹2,376.31 crore the previous year.
