The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced the results of the written examination conducted for the direct recruitment of Assistant Operators and Workshop Staff in the Radio Cadre. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results by visiting the UPPRPB’s official website at uppbpb.gov.in.
The recruitment, advertised on January 6, 2022, aimed to fill 1,374 vacant posts of Assistant Operator in the UP Police Radio Cadre. The online examination took place from February 1 to February 8, 2024, across various centers in Uttar Pradesh. Due to the multi-shift format of the examination, scores were normalized as per the stipulated provisions.
Following the written examination, 4,216 candidates have been shortlisted for the scrutiny of records and the physical standard test (PST). The selection process adheres to rules regarding the scrutiny of records, PST, and reservations as per government orders and court directives. The cutoff marks for candidates called for the scrutiny of records and PST across different categories are as follows:
The scrutiny of records and the physical standard test for the shortlisted candidates is scheduled for September 2024. Detailed information regarding the venue, date, and time will be provided on the UPPRPB’s official website.
Candidates who clear the scrutiny of records and PST will proceed to the physical efficiency test (PET). The final selection will be based on the normalized marks from the online examination and the reservations as per the government order.
