The Department of Biotechnology is gearing up for the Swachhata Hi Seva-2024 initiative and Special Campaign 4.0, focusing on enhancing cleanliness and addressing pending issues.
Under the framework of Special Campaign 4.0, the department is committed to improving cleanliness and managing pending tasks, including VIP references, public grievances, record management, scrap disposal, and the beautification of office and outdoor spaces. With a total of 17 locations, including the department’s autonomous bodies and public sector units, plans are actively underway.
A meeting led by the Secretary of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, has been held to strategize the implementation of these campaigns. Attendees included the Heads of Scientific Cadres and Divisional Heads, while Directors from 13 Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC) Institutions, RCB Faridabad, ICGEB New Delhi, and various public sector undertakings joined via virtual conferencing. The meeting involved a thorough discussion on rolling out Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 and Special Campaign 4.0 on a comprehensive scale.
The department plans to leverage social media to highlight campaign activities across its institutions. The Nodal Officer, alongside the Secretary of the Department of Biotechnology, will continuously review the campaign’s progress to ensure effective cleanliness and prompt resolution of pending matters.
