BJP National President and Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, J.P. Nadda, arrived in Patna for a two-day visit to inaugurate five healthcare facilities and meet with party leaders. His arrival was warmly welcomed by key BJP figures, including Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, and state president Dilip Jaiswal at Patna airport.
Rituraj Sinha, BJP’s National Secretary, emphasized that Nadda’s visit is set to energize party workers in Bihar. During his stay, Nadda will visit Patna, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Darbhanga, and Muzaffarpur, holding key meetings with party members to drive the party’s growth and membership.
The highlight of Nadda’s visit is the inauguration of five major healthcare projects, including a multi-specialty hospital in Bhagalpur’s Barari locality. Built for Rs 200 crore, the hospital will offer OPD services in neurology, cardiology, nephrology, and plastic surgery, among others, easing the burden on Bhagalpur Medical College and serving patients from Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
Additionally, Nadda will open an eye hospital at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS) in Patna and another multi-specialty hospital in Gaya, also costing Rs 200 crore. On Saturday, his schedule includes an inspection of AIIMS Darbhanga’s construction and the inauguration of another healthcare facility in Muzaffarpur.
Security has been heightened in all the areas Nadda is scheduled to visit, as local authorities ensure smooth operations during his trip. His visit is seen as a crucial step in boosting healthcare infrastructure and strengthening BJP’s position in the state.
