On Sunday, the Magadh Express, which was traveling from New Delhi to Islampur, experienced a coupling failure that caused the train to separate into two sections. The incident took place between Turiganj and Raghunathpur stations in Bihar’s Buxar district around 11:08 a.m.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. Sharswati Chandra, the Chief Public Relations Officer for East Central Railway, stated that the malfunction in the coupling led to the train splitting. Emergency and technical teams have been dispatched to handle the situation.
An investigation will be carried out to pinpoint the cause of the coupling issue. The East Central Railway is working to resolve the problem swiftly and is implementing measures to minimize any service disruptions.
