The Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSE&L), part of the Ministry of Education, is gearing up for Special Campaign 4.0, an initiative aimed at enhancing cleanliness and efficiency in government offices and its autonomous bodies. Scheduled from October 2 to October 31, 2024, this campaign builds on previous successes to foster a cleaner, more organized workspace while improving operational efficiency.
Special Campaign 4.0 will run in two phases: a Preparatory Phase from September 16 to September 30, and an Implementation Phase from October 2 to October 31. During the Preparatory Phase, all bureaus and autonomous bodies under DoSE&L will set targets and identify field units and outstation offices for the Swachhata campaign. The Implementation Phase will focus on clearing pending references, addressing grievances from MPs, the PMO, state governments, and simplifying processes. It will also involve record management, disposal of scrap and redundant items, and office beautification.
In addition to these objectives, the campaign aims to raise awareness about environmental sustainability. This includes integrating Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE in schools and continuing the #EkPedMaaKeNaam campaign to contribute to a greener future.
To track progress, a dedicated Google tracker will be used for daily updates from participating offices. The campaign will be promoted on social media with the hashtag #SpecialCampaign4.0. DoSE&L urges all its autonomous bodies to actively participate in this crucial initiative to create a cleaner and more efficient office environment.
