Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong during his two-day official visit to Singapore. The visit aims to solidify the strategic partnership between India and Singapore, building on existing cooperation in key areas such as trade, security, and technology. Modi’s visit comes as part of India’s ‘Act East’ policy, following his trip to Brunei.
This marks Modi’s first visit to Singapore since 2018 and his first meeting with Wong since the latter assumed office. The leaders are expected to discuss bilateral initiatives to enhance economic and geopolitical collaboration in the Indo-Pacific region.
