Subramanian Swamy, a well-known advocate, political commentator, and senior BJP leader, has launched a fierce critique of Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of spreading falsehoods. Swamy has taken his concerns to the Supreme Court, filing a petition to challenge Naidu’s claims, particularly regarding the alleged adulteration of the famous Tirumala Laddu with beef tallow and lard.
Swamy declared, “Chandrababu and his associates are spreading blatant lies. No devotee should believe his words. When Jagan Mohan Reddy took office in 2019, Chandrababu Naidu falsely claimed that images of Christ were being displayed in Tirumala. I took the matter to court, but Naidu couldn’t provide any evidence to back his claims. Now, we face a similar situation with his allegations about the Tirumala Laddu. Swamy has requested that the Supreme Court appoint a committee to investigate the Laddu controversy, arguing that the inquiry should not be led by any committee set up by Chandrababu Naidu or the SIT.
He added that Chandrababu Naidu will face the consequences for these actions. He won’t complete his five-year term in power; he will fall before that. Swamy went on to state, that Chandrababu is a liar, and I will ensure he is prosecuted. He will not escape this case. They are trying to incite panic among the public, which could potentially lead to unrest and riots.
As the Supreme Court deliberates on the matter, the outcome of the investigation and Swamy’s legal actions could have significant political repercussions for Chandrababu Naidu. Given the serious accusations, the situation is one to watch closely.
