A political clash has intensified between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge over unmet election promises. Following Modi’s critique of Congress for its alleged failure to deliver in Karnataka, Kharge hit back, accusing the BJP of betrayal and deception, stating that the “B” in BJP stands for “Betrayal” and the “J” for “Jumla” (empty promises).
Kharge also criticized Modi’s government as built on “lies, deceit, and publicity,” calling BJP’s 100-day plans mere PR stunts. Citing job shortages, economic struggles, and fiscal issues in states, Kharge and other Congress leaders accused the BJP of neglecting the needs of the people while failing on promises of economic growth, job creation, and transparency.
